Debra McNair

Graham - Debra Mae Daniel McNair, 60, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017 at the Hospice Home of UNC surrounded by her family. She was born on January 10, 1957 in Alamance County to the late Leonard Clarence Daniel and Shelba Dean Stewart Daniel Ward. She was the wife of 40 years to Michael Allen McNair who survives.

Debra worked as a mail clerk with the UNC Hospital Mailroom. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed. She enjoyed sewing, spending time with her family and especially her granddaughters. Debra was of the Christian faith.

Survivors other than her husband, Michael include her son, Michael Allen McNair, Jr. and fiancée, Becky Pitman; a daughter, Jennifer Michele McNair and fiancé, Bryant Wright; granddaughters that she adored Emery Michele Coble, Abigail Violet Pitman, Alyssa Wright, Aaliyah Wright and a granddaughter on the way, Jahzelle Carmella Mae Wright; sister, Natasha Payne and husband, Michael.

The memorial service will be held 4:00pm Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Lewis Harrelson. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the residence.
