Burlington – Debra Kay Baker “Debbie” Davenport, 70, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her family. She was born in Salina, KS, on December 31, 1953 to the late Billy Joe and Barbara Joan Morlock Baker and was the wife of the late Lane Davenport.
Debbie loved helping others and giving to the church. She collected Denver Broncos coffee mugs, and ceramic jewelry boxes and loved to research and visit historical sites. On the weekends, she liked to go out for coffee and visit antique shops.
Debbie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a daughter, Lyndi Deanne Rhinehardt.
She is survived by her daughters, Kristie Ramsey and Anna Childers (Roy Highfill); grandchildren; Katelyn Bowman (Treston Earley), Brianna Childers (Andrew Pannell), Hailey Bowman, Coryn Wynn, Mikayla Wynn (Dustin Wright) and Brooklynne Childers; Sister, Jan Spry (Jack); brother, Richard Baker (Jeannie) her great grandchildren Sutton Mae-Marie Earley, Samuel Winston Chase Earley, and Amya Kinsley Sowell; and her canine companion “Dixie Pearl Davenport” and avian companion “Emmett Davenport”.
A service to celebrate Debbie’s life will be held at 4:00pm on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Adam Bellamy.
