Deborah Jane Gates

Deborah Gates went home to be with our Lord, January 8, 2025. Born June 1, 1953, she grew up in Prospect Hill, NC. She was the daughter of the late Dallas and Louise Gates. 

Deborah is survived by her sister, Cathy G. Vaughn of Louisburg, and a brother, Garry P. Gates (Kathy), of Elon; nieces, Amanda Gates (Josh Privette), Carey French (Bobby), Anna Williams (Ben), Laura Gates; and nephews, Chris Vaughn and Louie Vaughn. She was a caring daughter, loving sister, devoted aunt, and loyal friend. She was a resident of Burlington for 50 years. She retired in early 2022. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, 19, at 2PM at Integrity Church, 2420 Corporation Pkwy # H, Burlington, NC. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Deborah's memory to a ministry or charity of your choice.
