David Edgar Williamson, 49, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Alamance Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born in Brevard County, FL on July 8, 1966 to George Edgar "Ed" Williamson, Jr. and Carol Suman Williamson who both survive.
David was a self-employed plumber, window and siding contractor. He graduated from Western Alamance High School where he played football. He was also an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing basketball.
Survivors other than his parents, Ed and Carol Williamson, include his sons, Clay Edgar Williamson and wife, Brittany and Adam Lee Williamson; grandchildren, Mason and Kiley Williamson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Phil McNiel, Becky and Jeff Loy; brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Traci Williamson; nieces, Abbey McBride and husband, Mike, Kristen Loy, Darbi Williamson, Gracie Williamson; nephews, Josh and Presley McNiel and Ethan Loy; great niece, Madison Rose McBride and a special aunt, Nancy Pruitt.
The celebration of life service will be held 2:00pm Monday, June 20, 2016 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. David Morton and Rev. Gene Hunsinger. The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45pm Monday prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
