David Tickle

WHITSETT, NC- David Michael Tickle, 59, of 3332 Tupelo Lane, died Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at his home after several months of failing health. Born in Alamance County he was the son of the late Norman Samuel Tickle and the late Edith Small Tickle. He was employed with Ferrystone Fabrics for over 20 years and was a member of Trinity Worship Center. Mr. Tickle is survived by a daughter, Robin Sunshine Tickle of Raleigh; a sister, Norma Tickle White and her husband, Gilbert, of Burlington; a brother, George "Sammy" Tickle of Liberty; two uncles, Walter Small of Burlington and George "Clem" Small of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Phillip Michael Tickle. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, October 31, 2008 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Darrell Cox. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday evening at the funeral home and other times at the sister's, Norma White, home, 4501 Belmont-Mt. Hermon Rd., Burlington.
