David Martin

Burlington, NC David "Dave" O'Neil Martin, age 59, f NC Hwy 62 North went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the Hospice Home. He was a native of Rockingham County and the husband of 20 years to Brenda Gregory Martin who survives. Dave was employed for many years with Central Locating Service and was a member of Burlington Christian Church. He was a classic car enthusiast and he went to car shows in his spare time. Dave served his country in the National Guard. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Gregory Martin of the home; mother-n-law, Ruby Gregory of Burlington; sister-in-law and husband, Elliot and Sandy Faucette of Burlington and his nephews, Davis and Alex Faucette. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Dillon Martin Mounce. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Burlington Christian Church by Creighton Beatty and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the Church on Saturday and other times at the home.
