David Paul Johnson, 50, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at his home. He was born in Chatham County. David was a former truck driver, highly skilled in auto mechanics and enjoyed Classic Rock. He is survived by his wife, Connie Johnson of Burlington; children, Thomas Jordan of Graham, Amy (Jerry) Rivers of Snow Camp, Danielle Johnson of Graham, Michael Johnson of Graham and Matthew Johnson of Graham; grandchildren, Sarah, Nathaniel and Daniel Rivers, and Matthew Jordan; sisters, Lisa Ainsworth of Asheboro, Kay (Chris) Babel of Mebane and Angela Johnson of Burlington; brother, Mark Johnson of Gibsonville; mother, Linda S. Johnson of Burlington; father, Paul D. Johnson of Burlington, and grandmother, Virginia Farrell of Graham. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Alysia Marie Rivers, maternal grandfather, Loftin Shoe and paternal grandparents, Eulus and Lillie Johnson. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Darrell Cox with interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Siler City.
