David Earl Holloman

Burlington – David Earl Holloman, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Wake Medical Hospital after several months of declining health.  He was born in Johnston County to the late John Wilbert Holloman and Margaret Louise Davis Holloman, and was the husband of 26 years to Janice “Jan” Beaver Holloman of the home.

David retired from Crystal Coast Property Management in Atlantic Beach, NC.  In his earlier years, he served as a Washington State Patrol Trooper in Clark County, WA and   was a proud US Army veteran.  He was a talented woodworker and an avid traveler.  He and Jan enjoyed many years of RV camping adventures throughout the US and Canada.

Survivors other than his wife, Jan Holloman, include his daughters, Jamie Bush, Jill Smith, and Allison Hubbell (Bryan); grandchildren, Brandon, McKenna, Taylor, and Noah; sisters, JoAnn Dale and Bonnie Deaver (Brian); numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved corgi companion, Jessie.  In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his siblings, Glenda, Debbie, and Johnny.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
