David Greer

Gibsonville-David Leslie Greer, age 49 passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at UNC Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born in Ontario, Canada and was the husband of 25 years to Anne Marie Bertrand Greer who survives. David was a service engineer with Cedar Lane Labs. He enjoyed playing Hockey and was a tropical fish and car enthusiast. He loved his canine companions, "Vinnie"," Winnie", "Maggie" and "Barry". He is survived by his wife of the home; sons, Mitchell David Greer and Mason Patrick Greer both of the home; mother, Nijole Melaine Dulke Greer of Ancaster Ontario, Canada; sisters, Cynthia Greer and husband, Alexander Parkes of Ontario, Canada and Lana Clare Greer and husband, David Miller of Gibsonville; uncle, Arnold Dulke of Ontario, Canada; loving son-in-law to the late Patricia Bertrand and surviving Robert and Gloria Bertrand of Ontario; "Nonie", Maria Blair of Ontario and Sister-in-law, Cheryl Meaden and husband, Michael of Ontario and he was loved by his niece and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Clare Greer A service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 11:00 am at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Chaplain Elaine Tola. The family will receive friends at the residence at other times.
