David Emmons

Richard Frederick “David” Emmons, age 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, surrounded by his family.  He was born in Worcester, MA and lived in Barre, MA until moving to Burlington, NC in 2016.

David was a member of Our Savior Ev. Lutheran Church in Westminster, MA and Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church in Burlington.  He was known for his lifelong love of learning, his storytelling, his fervent prayers for others and his desire to share Christ with everyone.

David is survived by his wife, Judy Emmons, his children, David Emmons (Lisa), Daniel Emmons (Helen), Kristine Keefe (Adam) and  Karl Emmons (Julie) and 9 grandchildren, Justin, Collin and Braeden Keefe, Gabrielle, Arianna, Natania, Annaliese and Micah Emmons and Jacob Emmons.

There will be a private graveside service.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of Hospice of Alamance-Caswell for their excellent care, and asks that donations be made to Hospice in lieu of flowers.
