David Baskette

David Scott Baskette, 50, passed away from a brief illness on Saturday, November 14, 2020 in Great Falls, Montana, doing what he loved best, enjoying the beautiful outdoors.  He was born in Radford, VA and later grew up in North Carolina.  David was born on November 25, 1969 to Jerry Wayne Baskette and Judy Jaynes Baskette.

A 1987 graduate of Williams High School, he earned his BS in Construction Management from East Carolina University.  He worked for Hamlett Construction Company and later owned his own company.  David was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to many and will be dearly missed.

Survivors other than his parents, Jerry and Judy Baskette, include a niece, Alyssa Taylor Baskette-Stokes; his significant other, Denise Day and Kylie, special “K.K.”; and special aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Doug Baskette.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kristen and Mike Bowers and Tyler Day.

A private burial will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Ben Bishop.
