David Alcon

Elon, NC-David Eugene "Bubba' Alcon, age 38 passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. He was a native of Alamance County and the husband of eleven years to Jessica Dickerson Alcon who survives. David was employed with Delta Contracting and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Graham. He was an avid fan of Nascar and the Washington Redskins and loved spending time outdoors with his children. In his spare time he loved fishing and riding his motorcycle. David was devoted to his wife and children and was a wonderful family man. David is survived by his wife, Jessica D. Alcon of the home; daughter, Payton Layne Alcon and a son, David "Ethan" Alcon both of the home; father and step mother, Jackie Eugene and Debbie Alcon of Elon; mother and step father, Susan Boone and Destry Bradley of Mebane; sisters, Donna Flynn and husband, Joey of Burlington, Jaqueline Alcon of Elon; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Doris Alcon. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 4:00 pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Tommy Bright. There will be a reception during the visitation provided by the family immediately following the service at the funeral home. Other times the family will be at the home of George and Annie Winkler in Graham. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Premier Federal Credit Union, Trust Fund Account c/o Jessica Alcon for Ethan and Peyton Alcon.
