Danny Rabon

Mr. Danny Gilbert Rabon, age 72, of Burlington, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at the Hospice Home after several months of failing health.

Born in Horry County, SC, he was the son of the late Ivey Rabon and the late Louise Cox Rabon and was married for almost 50 years to Mrs. Linda Sprague Rabon, who survives.  He retired from Morrisette Paper Company after 35 years of service and enjoyed working in his yard and gardening.

Mr. Rabon is survived by his wife of the home; a daughter, Deanna Ireland and her husband, Daniel, and two step grandchildren, Hunter and Olivia, all of Wesley Chapel, FL; sister, Barbara Gibson (Bobby); two brothers Jimmy Rabon (Sharon) and Mitchell Rabon (Elaine) and a sister-in-law, Hilda Rabon, all of Thomasville; his father-in-law, Herbert Sprague and brother-in-law, Gary Sprague, both of Burlington; and his faithful companion, “Bailey”.  He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Randy Rabon; and his mother-in-law, Ruth Sprague.

Private services will be held at a later date.
