Danny Aldridge

Yanceyville - Danny Michael Aldridge, 65, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Moses Cone Hospital where he died suddenly. He was born on January 4, 1953 in Caswell County to the late Charlie Rufus Aldridge and the late Elsie Pauline Simmons Aldridge.

Danny formerly worked with Collins & Aikman Corporation and Hanford Brick Company. He was a Christian and enjoyed visiting churches with anyone who invited him to go.

He is survived by his sisters, Katrine Hall, Evonne Pruitt and husband, Preston, Elaine Wrenn, Polly Lewis, Merry Parrott and husband, Buggs; brothers, Eddie Aldridge and wife, Barbara, Kenneth Aldridge and wife, Debbie; numerous nieces and nephews, and his extended family at Jefferson Family Care. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, George Aldridge and his canine companion, Bigfoot.

The celebration service will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Caswell Ward by Bishop Dwayne Bryant, Rev. Steve Pruitt and Rev. Lee Edwards, with the burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the services in the church fellowship hall with a catered lunch.
