Daniel Wallace

Daniel "Danny" Lee Wallace, 58, of 2340 West Greensboro-Chapel Hill Rd, was unexpectedly called home by his heavenly father on Thursday, February 9, 2012. He was born in Durham County to the late Alvin Vernon Wallace and Ava Lee Hancock and was married for 33 years to Sallie Hill Wallace, who survives. Danny was pastor of Freedom Worship Center and was an avid golfer. He was a loving and devoted Christian, husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of the home; daughters, Jenny Wallace of the home, Beth William Leggate of Liberty; sons, Tom Ashlee Wallace of Danville and Daniel Wallace II of the home; grandson, Isaac Wallace and a sister, Jean Harold Smith of Elon. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Tom Wallace. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by his son, Pastor Tom Wallace. The family will receive friends from 2-4 Sunday afternoon at the funeral home and other times at the home. There will be a private family interment.
