Daniel Carnes

Mr. Daniel Wayne Carnes, 67, of Pasadena, Texas went home to be with the Lord on April 19, 2010. Mr. Carnes was born on February 21, 1943 in Lancaster, SC and was the son of the late Oveta Carnes Riggins and the late Ganson Cooper Carnes. He retired from High Tech Equipment in 2009. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son Timothy Wayne Carnes. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law Tamara and Bill Fisher of Shelby, grandsons; James Israel Melanie of Fort Mill, SC, David Israel of Fort Mill, SC, Brandon LaRoche Nickie of Kings Mountain, NC and Jordan Reyes of Kings Mountain, NC, great grandchildren Payton, Harleigh and Camden LaRoche of Kings Mountain, NC, Addison and Aiden Israel of Fort Mill, SC. He is also survived by his brothers; Dahl Carnes Jane of Charlotte, NC, Donald Carnes Marie of Burlington, a half-sister Sherry Riggins Daggs Jerry of Ewing, MO, a half brother Terry Riggins Martha of Haw River, NC, Uncles and Aunts George Knight, Jr. Ada of Burlington, Marion Knight Delilah of Spartanburg, SC, Betty White Sonny and Winifred Knight all of Burlington. The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, April 29, 2010 at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 12:45 1:45 PM prior to the service.
