Dana Laster

Dana Eugene Laster, 58, of 710 Maple Avenue, passed away at his residence on Saturday, July 25, 2009. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late June and Billie Mullis Laster. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Diana Grizzle Laster of the home; sons, Timothy Laster and wife Nikki of Mebane, and Shannon Laster of Burlington; grandchildren, Tristin and Makeenzie Laster; sisters, Billie Rudloff and husband Tom of Snow Camp, Teresa Davis and husband Don of Asheville, Mary Burgess and husband Bruce of Mebane, Susan Manuel and husband Greg of High Point, and Barbara Rodriguez of Durham; brothers, Erick Laster and wife Kim of Charlotte, and Steven Laster and wife Brenda of Charleston, WV; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ricky Cox. Interment will follow at Linwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
