Dallas Sutton

Mr. Dallas T. Bucky Sutton, Sr. 58, of 2605 Bermuda Trail went home to be with the Lord Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Mr. Sutton was born March 23, 1949 in Alamance County to the late Dallas and Oteleyn Smith Sutton. He was married 23 years to his wife Patricia Oakley Sutton of the home. He was a carpenter by trade for 45 years and was a member of New Life Community Church in Haw River. He loved working with his hands and enjoyed seeing the results of his hard work. He was loved dearly by his family and will be greatly missed. Survivors other than his wife include three sons, Dallas T. Sutton, Jr. and wife Darlene of Mars, Penn; Clinton Neil Sutton of Charleston, S.C; and Dwayne Huffines of Burlington; four stepchildren, Pamela Rudd and her husband Rennie of Mebane; Donna Neese and her husband Tony of Mebane, Tammy Coble and her husband Bobby of Burlington, and Tim Oakley of Mebane; three grandchildren, Courtney Sutton, Dallas T. Sutton, III, and Carissa Sutton; three step-grandchildren, Jeremy Rudd, Casey Pulliam, and Dillion Coble; one step- great granddaughter, Brianna Pulliam; a sister, Dale Keitz of Missouri, three brothers, Lee Sutton of Eden, Denny Sutton of Burlington, and Tommy Sutton of Mebane; a step-sister, Virginia Wilson of Eden. He was preceded in death by a brother David Sutton. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Mark Machia. Interment will follow at Longs Chapel Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times the family will be at the home.
