Dale Parker

Burlington - Dale Jeanette "Jeannie" Allen Wilson Parker, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 22, 2017. She was born in Alamance County to the late Robert and Dorothy A. Huffman Allen.

Jeannie retired from Western and Southern Insurance Agency and was a member of Glen Raven Baptist Church. She was a member of the Life Underwriters Association and a volunteer with Meals on Wheels and the American Red Cross. She was a devoted caregiver to many in her family over the years.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Dawn Allen of Texas and her son, Jeffrey Lynn Wilson of Texas; nine grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; sister, Cynthia Kay Williams of Graham. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Shirley Ann Morris and Sonya RaChelle Parker; sister, Theresa Jane Turner and a brother, Robert Cleatus Allen.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 3:00pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Walter Jones and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:45pm-2:45 pm prior to the service.
