D. Rea

D. Jean Weilmuenster Rea, passed away on Friday August 3, 2018. She was born October 27, 1920. She is preceded in death by her husband John, her parents George and Alice Weilmuenster and brothers, George and Richard "Dick" of Belleville, IL. She is survived by her sons Jack, Michael (wife Connie), Jeffrey and daughter Lisa Autry (husband Craig) and Jeanne Rea.
Jean was a dedicated wife & mother traveling through the years to Europe, Korea and Japan. She was a dear "Neena" to her grandchildren Angela Jensen, Carla Foley, Meredith Hursey, Katelyn Hardy, Brooks Autry, and Taylor Autry. She was great grandmother to Courtney, Race, Will, Noah, Sawyer, Isla and Greyson. She was a great great grandmother to William.
Jean settled in Fayetteville, NC in 1960. She was an active member of the St. Patrick's Church. She was a member of the Retired Officer's Wives Club and the Flora McDonald Garden Club. She was a volunteer at Highsmith Rainy Hospital.
Services will be held 3:00 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel in Burlington, NC by Rev. Paul Lininger, OFM. Conv. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 2844 Village Dr, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
