Cynthia Smith

Burlington - Cynthia Lynne Sutton Smith, 71, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at her home. She was born on April 23, 1947 in Alamance County to the late Linley Vance Sutton and Florence Mae Gourley Sutton.

Cynthia retired from Lab Corp and she was a member of Wicker Street Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Kim Smith Phillippie and husband, Kenneth; a granddaughter, Josie Brynn Phillippie; and a brother, Billie Ray Sutton.

The Celebration Service will be held at 6:30pm Friday, December 7, 2018 at Lighthouse Bible Church by Rev. Josh House. The family will receive friends following the service with a reception in the fellowship hall.
