Cossie Boggs

Cossie Friddle Boggs, 68, of Dixon Pool Rd. passed away Friday, February 23, 2007 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Raymond Douglas 8Ball Boggs and the daughter of the late Ned and Bertie Levens Friddle. Cossie was a native of Guilford County, retired from Tower Mills and was a member of Staley Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include her step-son Claude Douglas OHagan of Henderson, a sister Minnie Allred of Burlington, a brother James Friddle and his wife Mary of Greensboro and two step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters; Annie Wooten, Nellie Friddle and a brother Charles Friddle. The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bennie Smith and Rev. Rodney Staley. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 2-4 PM Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc.
