Cosmo Magarelli

Elon - Cosmo A. Magarelli, 87, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Moses Cone Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on March 7, 1931 in Hoboken, NJ to the late Vito and Francesca Magarelli and was the loving husband to Gaby Magarelli of 46 years.

Cosmo retired after 46 years of service as the president of Serra International, an international freight forwarder and custom house broker. He was an avid golfer; attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and was a US Army veteran during the Korean Conflict.

Cosmo is survived by, Gaby Magarelli, his daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Brian Flaherty; his grandsons whom he adored, Shane and Brian Flaherty; a sister, Beatrice Magarelli; a niece, Tanya Kuhn and nephew, Eric Kuhn.

The memorial mass will be held at 11:00am Friday, June 8, 2018 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Rev. Briant Cullinane, OFM Conv.
