Mrs. Cora Foust Teer, 70, of 312 Lewis St., died Thursday, April 13, 2006 at her daughters home after a brief battle with cancer. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late George R. Foust and the late Lena Murph Foust Brown and was married to James Edward Teer, Sr., who survives. She retired from Cone Mills after 32 years at the Minneola Plant and was a member of Brick Reformed United Church of Christ. Mrs. Teer is survived by her husband of the home; three daughters, Patricia Loy and her husband, David, of Burlington, Denise Teer of Gibsonville, and Shelby Moize of Burlington; a son, James Edward Teer, Jr. of the home; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Sharpe of Burlington; and a brother, James Foust of Snow Camp. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 16, 2006 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bobby Fann. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home of a daughter, Denise Teer, 401 Piedmont Ave., Gibsonville.
