Connie Adams

Connie Mack Adams, 89, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at his home.  He was born in Alamance to the late Herbert Monroe and Lela Cox Adams and was married for almost 61 years to the late Ernestine Adams.  He served in the US Marines during the Korean War and received the Atomic Veteran award. He retired from Bell Labs/ AT & T, then Lucent Technologies as a draftsman working on special military projects.  He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and The Alamance County Senior Golf Association.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his son, Jeff Adams of Burlington; grandchildren, Miriam, Michelle, Marshall Adams; a brother, Lawrence (June) Adams; nieces and nephew, Dale Watkins, Beverly (Tom) Bell and Donna Eisenberg.  He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, son, Mike Adams, daughter-in-law, Marsha Adams; sisters, Lorraine Murray, Betty James, Doris Tucker; brothers, Thomas Adams, Kenneth Adams, Pete Adams, Bill Adams.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory.
