Colleen Dean

Colleen Smith Dean, 82 of Haw River went home to be with her Lord and Savior, and her husband, Harvey Clayton Dean "the love of her life" on Wednesday, May 21, 2014. She was born in Alamance County and was the daughter of the late Glover Eugene and Flora Lee Starnes Smith. Mrs. Dean was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Montes and her husband Daniel of Burlington, Kim Carson and her husband Dean of Haw River; granddaughters, Kristy and Terri Carson and great granddaughters, Caylee Renee "Caylee Bear" Murphy and Cheyenne "Chey" Avila. A celebration of life service will be held at the home of her daughter, Lisa Montes on Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 5-8 pm.
