Clyde "Andy" Walker, Jr.

Elon – Clyde “Andy” Andrew Walker, Jr., 67, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 at his home.  He was born on January 24, 1952 in Alamance County to the late Clyde Andrew Walker, Sr. and Helen Somers Walker McKinney.

Andy was a retired Boating Technician with the Wildlife Commission.  He was an outdoorsman—spending much of his life hunting and fishing—and loved playing music with friends. He was fun-loving and cared deeply for his animals, friends, and family.

He is survived by his son, Jerry Tyler Walker and significant other, Brooke Eaves; his brothers Dr. Eddie Walker and wife Peggy; John Walker; Jerry Walker and wife Tina; Danny Walker and wife Diane; and Bobby Walker. Andy was preceded in death by a son, Dustin Andrew Walker, and his parents.

The celebration of life service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by his brother, Dr. Eddie Walker.  The family will receive friends following the service.  Andy’s wishes were for people to dress casual and be comfortable at his service.
