Julian, NC Clyde Junius Woodard, age 62, of Holts Store Road went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 1, 2007 at his home. He was born on June 9, 1944 in Guilford County and was the son of the late Noral Junius Woodard and Nola Gerner Woodard who survives. Clyde retired from Robertson and Son Masonry and was a member of Brick Reform Church. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, William Willie Grant Woodard and his wife, Angela of Julian; grandchildren, Colton and Casey Woodard; mother, Nola Gerner Woodard of Julian; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah Woodard Crabtree and her husband, Ed of Greensboro. He was preceded in death by his father, brothers, Willie and Wayne Woodard. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 4, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at the Brick Reform United Church of Christ by Rev. John Bailey and Rev. Ricky Cox and the burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. on Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the sons home on Holts Store Road.
