Clyde Terrell

Clyde K. Terrell, 73, of Milesville Rd. passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born in Alamance County, son of the late Johnny Isaac and Pearl Davis Terrell and was married for 51 years to Vivian Mills Terrell who survives. Clyde worked for Terrell Body Works and he attended Spirit and Truth Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife of the home, sons, Darin Donna Terrell of Haw River, Shannon Teresa Terrell of Burlington; grandchildren, Stephanie Simpson, Brandon Courtney Terrell, Garrett Terrell, Grecia Terrell; sisters, Jeanette Jay Short of Michigan, Louise Simmons of Burlington; several nieces and nephews and his best friend, Jazzy. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and six brothers. The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Michael Petty with interment to follow in Spirit and Truth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday evening at the funeral home and other times at the home.
