Clinton Hester

Clinton S. Hester, age 83, formerly of Oakland Dr., Burlington, passed away Friday March 16, 2007 at Morningside of Raleigh. A native of Guilford County, he was husband of the late Fleta Woodburn Hester and son of the late Clinton S. and Virginia Warren Trollinger Hester. Mr. Hester was a veteran of the U.S.A.F. during WWII serving with the 382nd Bomber Group in England. He was the former owner and manager of Trollinger Coal and Oil Co. and enjoyed boating, model airplanes and reading. Survivors include two sons, Clinton Van Hester and wife Linda of Morrisville and Kevin B. Hester and wife Betty of Liberty; daughter, Sharlyn Hester Manissero and husband Claudio of Huntersville; grandchildren, Ginger Reaves, Clint King, Chris Hester, Shannon Hartsock and Courtney Pike; great grandchildren, Amanda Reaves, Gabriel Hartsock and Brooke Pike. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Monday March 19, 2007 at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Gene Hunsinger. Interment will follow in Gibsonville City Cemetery. Mr. Hester will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:30 3:45 PM Monday, prior to the funeral service.
