Claudia Faucette

Claudia Whitlow Faucette, 91, of Burlington died Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Alamance Health Care Center. Born in Danville, Va, August 4, 1922, to James and Daisy Daniels Whitlow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded on death by her husband J.W. Faucette and her two sisters, Gaynell Dean and Mary Harrison. Mrs. Faucette was retired from Southern Bell and after retirement enjoyed her work and love for her church. She was a faithful member of Glen Hope Baptist Church and never failed to daily remember her church through prayer and encouragement, even when she wasn't physically able to attend, she will be remembered as a faithful prayer warrior. She was a thoughtful and sweet spirit who took great joy and pleasure remembering birthdays, marriages, sicknesses, and all special occasions with a card and a precious personal thought that will always be remembered. Mrs. Faucette is survived by her nephew Edgar Dean, wife Marchaline and Jimmy Harrison, wife Jane, also her niece Patricia West, and husband Bobby. Services will be11:00 AM Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Reverend Bob Stephenson, burial to follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 10:45 prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Glen Hope Baptist Church, 911 North Ave., Burlington, NC 27217.
