Clarence Monroe Whitt

  Clarence enjoyed working with his hands, being outdoors, fishing, and spending time with his family. He retired from GKN Automotive in 1997 after being employed for 16 years.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Whitt of the home; son, Daniel Whitt and wife, Angie of Graham; daughter, Dana Wheeler and husband, Eric of Burlington; four grandchildren: Whitney Long and her brother Dayne Wheeler; Dillon Whitt and Kayla Whitt; sister, Lois Clapp of Elon and brothers, Gene Whitt and wife, Nancy, and Ervin Whitt all of Elon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth James and Brona Bradsher Whitt; his brother, Garland Whitt; and his son, Timothy Whitt.

  A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Alamance Memorial Park by Pastor Darrell Gaines.  The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
