Clara Friddle

Clara Friddle, 76 of Holt's Store Rd., died on Thursday, February 16, 2006 at Wesley Long Community Hospital in Greensboro after two years of failing health. She was born in Guilford County, daughter of the late Oliver G. and Sarah F. Friddle. Clara was a member of Mt. Hope United Church of Christ. She is survived by her sisters, Bessie I. Friddle of Julian and Lessie F. Shinbara of Greensboro and a brother and sister-in-law, L. B. and Modine Friddle of Julian. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, William H. Friddle and a brother-in-law, Joe Shinbara. The funeral will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday at Mt. Hope United Church of Christ by Rev. Dr. Walter Patten. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 2:45 PM prior to the service at the church and other times at the home of her brother, L. B. Friddle, 6527 Holt's Store Rd., Julian.
