Sanford - Cindy Regina Coker, 55, passed away suddenly Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at her home. She was born on January 15, 1960 in Alamance County to the late William and Barbara Talley Coker. Cindy lived most of her life in Haw River, NC, but spent the last 7 years at the family homestead in Sanford, NC. She went to Hugh M. Cummings High School. She worked at J P Stevens and Brown Wooten. She also spent some happy years at home raising her boys. She later worked as a Pharmacy Sales Associate for Liberty Drug Store. During her time there she delighted in helping her diabetic customers learn how to use their blood glucose testing meters, meeting new people, and helping to brighten their day with a laugh. She had a passion for making crocheted and beaded crafts, spending time with her children, family, friends, and cherished cats. For many years she was a participant in the holiday craft fairs at the Enrichment Center and Turner's Chapel Baptist Church in Sanford. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law Brian and Michael "Jodi" Coker of Greensboro and Christopher "Chris" Coker and Bri Calhoun of Graham; sister and brother-in-law Robin and Mike Crumley of Houston, TX; adopted granddaughter Aubrianna Martinez of Haw River; Special friends Cindy Paul of Lemon Springs and Fran Wagstaff of Graham and her feline companions Reid and Gideon. The celebration of life service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday January 2, 2016 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel with Visitation to follow. Memorials may be made to the Susan G.
