Christine Greeson

Christine Elizabeth Shepherd Greeson, 94, passed away peacefully at home, Monday, September 26, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born on February 1, 1922 in Guilford County to the late Kivett Shepherd and Minnie Neese Shepherd and was married to the late Porter Greeson.

Christine retired from Vick's/Procter & Gamble in Greensboro. She was a member of Brick Reformed Church and she enjoyed mowing and working in her yard.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Darlene Thornberry Greeson; grandchildren and spouses, Denise Greeson, Scott and Judy Brantley, Samantha and John Kim, Sean and Teresa Brantley; 10 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Ruby Shepherd. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a daughter, Patsy Jean Greeson; a son, Larry Wayne Greeson and brothers, Boyce and Erwin Shepherd.

The graveside service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, September 29th at Brick Reformed Church Cemetery by Rev. Geoff LaLone. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 1:45pm prior to the service in the Old Brick Church and other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Brick Reformed Church, 3699 Brick Church Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
