Charlie Lee

Burlington-Charlie "Kojak" Worth Lee, 72, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 24, 2018. He was a native of Alamance County and the husband of 40 years to Brenda Lunsford Lee who survives.
Charlie retired from Piedmont plumbing and was a truck driver for years with Douglas and Sons Trucking. He attended Maranatha Baptist Church and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Lunsford Lee of the home; daughters, Cyndi Lee of Alexis, NC and Christie Wise of Stanley, NC; step children, Mark Huffines and Angelia Huffines both of Greensboro; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild' sisters, Nancy Lee Forsyth and husband, Troy of Norwood, NC and Shelby Lee Grasse and husband, Dave of Wilmington, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Worth Lee, Sr. and Helen Grubb Lee.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 2:00pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Tommy Fargis. A private burial will follow at Gilmore Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45pm prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
