Charles Tharp

Burlington - Charles Henry Tharp, 56, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Hospice Home surrounded by his family. He was born in Bladen County, NC on April 3, 1961 to Elizabeth "Lib" Raynor Guthrie who survives.

Charles formerly worked at Aero Accessories Inc. and attended West Burlington Church of God.

He is survived by his daughter, Laura Lee and husband, Joshua; a son, Tyler Scott Tharp; grandson, Ethan Lee; mother and step father, Elizabeth "Lib" Guthrie and Richard Guthrie; sisters, Margaret Guthrie and husband, Ricky, and Bonnie Stanley and husband, Johnny; a brother, H.B. Terry and wife, Marcia; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his step father, Howard Terry.

The funeral service will be held 2:00PM Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:00PM to 1:45PM Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
