Charles Hathcock

Charles William Hathcock, 92, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He was born May 10, 1925 in Stanly County to the late James Thomas and Magdelence Almond Hathcock and was married to the late Colleen Miller Hathcock. Charles retired from Collins & Aikman in Old Fort after 32 years of service. He served in the US Army and was of the Methodist faith.
He is survived by his sons, Charles Stephen (Trinia) Hathcock, Dru William Hathcock, daughter-in-law Cathy Hathcock; grandchildren, Chuck Hathcock, Ailish Hathcock, Brantley Hathcock, Tyler Hathcock; great grandchildren, Chloe Beth Hathcock and Owen Hathcock. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents; a son, Garrison "Garry" Mark Hathcock; sister Dorothy Poplin and brother Vance Hathcock.
There will a graveside service 3:00 PM Monday at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Fil Anderson. The family will receive friends 1:30 - 2:30 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.
