Catherine Stutts

Mrs. Catherine Muriel Crumpler Stutts, age 98, of Trail Two, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her children and loving Shih Tzu companion, "Domino". Born in Sampson County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Jeffery Crumpler and the late Henrietta Fisher Crumpler and was married over 70 years to Barney Willard Stutts, who passed in 2008. She retired after many years of service with Foster Hosiery Mills and was a member of Burlington Christian Church. Mrs. Stutts is survived by her daughter, Kathy Snow of Morganton, NC; her two sons, Buddy Stutts and his wife, Ren, of Liberty and Keith Stutts of Burlington; three grandchildren, Brian Stutts, Molly Snow and Mary Snow; two great grandchildren, Cooper Stutts and Caylie Stutts; a sister, Clio Adler of Mason, OH. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two sisters, Mary Fisher Crumpler and Joyce Wright; and a brother, Henry Crumpler. A graveside service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Sunday, July 14, 2013 at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:30 3:30 Sunday afternoon prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
