Catherine Ledbetter

Catherine Helms Ledbetter, 80, of Friedens Church Rd. passed away Friday, February 3, 2012 at Moses Cone Hospital. She was the wife of Rev. Dr. Don K. Ledbetter and was born December 21, 1931 in Albemarle, NC to the late John and Mattie Griffin Helms. She was a true pastor's wife filling many roles at the churches where they had served. She was currently a member of Brown Wesleyan Church. Survivors include her husband of the home, a daughter Nicole James Harvell of Gibsonville, sons, Don Kelly "D.K." Linnie Ledbetter of Seneca, SC, Kip Ledbetter and his girlfriend Wendy Pegram of Archdale and six grandchildren. The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Brown Wesleyan Church by Rev. Larry Pope and Rev. Ralph Clayton. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 3-5 PM Sunday at Brown Wesleyan Church and at other times at the daughter's home. 903 Apple St., Gibsonville.
