Cassie Rudder

Cassie Marie Rudder, 17 of 1648 White Kennel Rd. lot 63, passed away Friday, September 4, 2009 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of the late Lillian Marie Reaves and Robert Wayne Rudder who survives. Cassie was an only child who has been battling health problems for some time. After Cassie's mother passed away Cassie was raised by her aunt {foster mother} Stella Strouth and her uncle {foster dad} Johnny Strouth. She was a full time student at Southern Alamance High School and a member of New Life Baptist Church. Cassie also had foster brothers; Toney Strouth, Scott Strouth, Todd Simpson, Jimmy Moody and foster sisters; Melissa Moody, Tracie Simpson, Lisa Strouth and Tammy Strouth. She was also survived by her paternal grandparents Leo Rudder and Mearalene Crabtree. Cassie was a sweet and loving child and she will never be forgotten and will remain in our hearts forever. The funeral will be held 5:00 PM Sunday at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bruce Church. The family will receive friends 3:30 -4:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service and at other times at the home of Tracie and Todd Simpson, 1406 Old Coach Rd. in Graham. Interment will be 1:00 PM Monday at Theresa Baptist Church Cemetery in Roxboro.
