Casey Thomas

Burlington-Casey Marshall Thomas, age 24 of Burlington, NC unexpectedly left this world on Monday, May 21, 2018. Casey was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend to so many.
Anyone that knew Casey knew what a contagious personality and heart he had. He was a dreamer, and artist, a believer in the good in people, and wanted to so desperately help anyone in need. Casey was a 2011 graduate of Western Alamance High School. He was loved by so many and you never left his presence without a soft, "I love you" leaving his lips. His heart was big, full, and overflowing with love. He truly was a one of a kind gift to this world and the hearts of so many.
Casey's heart and life live on through those who knew and loved him deeply. Specifically, his mother, Jamie Thomas, father, Ronald Thomas, sister, Karly Headen, brother-in-love, Joshua Headen; stepmom, Carren Thomas and step brothers and sister, Brian and Brooke Porterfield.
A service to celebrate Casey's life will be on Friday, May 25, 2018 beginning at 5pm at his home located at 2606 Durham Meadows Court, Burlington, NC 27217, a time to come together for family and friends to share their memories of Casey.
At the family's request and to honor the life of Casey, they ask that instead of flowers and gifts, that a donation can be made to Angels at Risk, a non-profit organization that believes that by reaching teenagers can help families heal from addiction and can also help other families through the telling and a sharing of their stories.
