Carolyn Vaden

Elon, NC Carolyn Ann Beitel Vaden, age 66, of Aspen Avenue died on Monday, September 12, 2011 at the Hospice Home in Burlington. Carolyn was a homemaker and was a Hospice volunteer for several years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who will always be remembered for her unconditional devotion to her family. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Kenneth R. Vaden of the home; daughters, Valerie Vaden of Melbourne, Florida and Kendra Sharp of Titusville, Florida; grandchildren, Justin Vaden and Amanda Sharp both of Titusville, Florida, Kyle Bushman of Cocoa Beach, Florida and Ellen Gutierrez of Santa Maria, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles L. Beitel, Sr. and Veta Metcalfe Beitel; brothers, Charles "Bud" Beitel and Byron Beitel. A private service to celebrate her life was held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of the arrangements.
