Carolyn Ward Corbett, 79, formerly of Climax, passed away Friday, February 15, 2019 at Twin  Lakes Community on her 61st wedding anniversary.  A native of Guilford County, she was the wife  of the late Henry Tillman Corbett, Jr. and daughter of the late William Arthur Ward and Ruby Ward Weaver.

She was a member of Southeast Church of the Nazarene in Greensboro. She served the Lord in the beauty of Holiness for 73 years.

Survivors include her son, Skip Corbett and wife Elaine; daughter, Susan Ezekiel and husband Jim; grandchildren, James Ezekiel, Kimberly Ezekiel, Kailey Ezekiel and Hank Corbett, IV; sister, Sue Phillips, brother John Robert Ward, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Lydia Loftis and brother William Ward.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Monday, February 18, 2019 at Southeast Church of the Nazarene by Pastor William Fields. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.

Mrs. Corbett will remain at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory in Burlington until being taken to the church for services.  The family will receive friends at Southeast Church of the Nazarene from 1:00pm until 1:45pm prior to the funeral service.
