Caroline Saconn

Elon-Caroline A. Saconn, 85 passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her family. She was born in Buffalo, New York to the late Joseph and Frances Barone Angelo.
Caroline retired after 35 years with BellSouth and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She was an exceptional cook and the Matriarch of her family. She enjoyed life and especially spending time with her family and beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her former husband, Carl Saconn of Elon; children, Carl Saconn and wife, Lucy of Burlington, Suzanne Blanchard and husband, Keith of Burlington, David Saconn and Velinda Isley of Elon, Dr. Paul Saconn and wife, Sarah of Morgantown, West Virginia and Rachel Reid of Burlington; her numerous beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren and a sister, Patricia Farrauto of Tonawanda, New York. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Josephine Longo and Dolores Carbone.
A private Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and entombment at Alamance Memorial Park.
