Carole Cox

Carole Huffman Cox, 59, 400 Steele St. passed away Tuesday March 4, 2008. She was the daughter of Joel Huffman, Sr. who survives and the late Nora Kathryn Sawyer Huffman Braden. She was a native of Guilford County and had worked in accounting. Carole spent most of her life in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Survivors include her son Michael Cox of San Clemente, CA, her father Joel Huffman of Gibsonville, a sister Cheryl Walker and her husband John of Gibsonville, a brother Joel "Jay" Huffman, Jr. and his wife Peggy of Davie, FL, a stepfather, Verne S. "Skip" Braden of TN; a niece Janna Smith and her husband Randall, nephew Timothy Walker, great nieces; Ella Smith, Erin Walker, Kristin Walker. The memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Friday March 14, 2008 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the donor's choice.
