Carol Marsh

Burlington, NC – Carol Johnson Marsh, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Hospice Home after several years of failing health.  She was born in Alamance County on April 26, 1939 to the late Floyd and Cleo Johnson.

Carol was a member of Piedmont Baptist Church and was a volunteer Sunday School Teacher. She was a loving and dedicated caregiver for her family members.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirlene Murph of Burlington; sister, Barbara Harris and husband Theodore of Raleigh; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one nephew.

A service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Brandon Rouse with the burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
