Carlton Michael

Mr. Carlton Spencer "Pinky" Michael, 83, formerly of Grace Ave., died Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Liberty Commons after several months of failing health. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Daniel David Michael and the late Blanche Sutton Michael. He was retired from Old Dominion Box Company, Inc. with over 30 years service and was a charter member and oldest current member of Lowe Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Michael is survived by a brother, Daniel Thomas Michael of Burlington and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters, Annie Morton, Beatrice Williams, Ruth Kepley, Desma Wagoner and Grace Caroon; and two brothers, Clinton Michael and George Michael. A memorial graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, October 24, 2008 at Alamance Memorial Park by the Rev. Delton Agnor. Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Michael family.
