Carlos Stanley

Whitsett - Carlos Otis Stanley, 61, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at his home surround by his family. Carlos was born on May 8, 1956 in Huntsville, AL to the late Henry Otis "H.O." Stanley and Margaret Pearl Stanley and was the husband to Karen Wade Stanley of 16 years who survives.

Carlos was employed with Hewitt Packard. He loved all kinds of western movies, an avid golfer and a member of the Stoney Creek Golf Association.

Survivors other than his wife, Karen Wade Stanley include his son, Jarrod "Nick" Stanley and wife, Laura; a daughter, Kristinna Stanley; step sons, Colin Lucas and wife, Jennifer, Kyle Lucas and Brett Lucas; grandchildren, Destiny, David, Joshuakyle, Elora, Delia, Brannon and Rylan; sisters, Renea Avery and Cynthia Blackburn and husband, Michael. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Sheila and Lisa Stanley.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home.
