Carl Kepley

Myrtle Beach - Carl Denzil "Denny" Kepley, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at his home. He was the husband of 57 years to Linda Neal Kepley of the home and was born in Alamance County on October 27, 1941 to the late Carl Lee and Juanita Godby Kepley.
Denny served in the US Army and was a former member of Faith UMC. He managed Kepley Auto Parts and also worked for the Gibsonville Police Communications. Denny was a member of the Graham Masonic Lodge #492 and was a retired Major in Civil Air Patrol. He enjoyed fishing and was a private airplane pilot.
Survivors include his wife, Linda of the home; nephews, Gerald Neal (Cindy); niece, Tammie Smith (David); brother, Lawrence Hicks; cousin, Roland Davis; great nephews, Taylor Neal and Garrett Neal and his beloved pet companion, "Ginger". He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Fred Neal.
A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Keith Jones and Rev. Paul Renigar followed by Military Honors and Masonic rights.
